  • Original language description

Medvědín deposit (Krkonoše Mts., northern Bohemia) represents hydrothermal vein type of uranium deposit with prevalence of supergene uranium minerals. This paper caries out results of the research on following supergene phases: agardite-(Y), autunite/metaautunite, dewindtite, churchite-(Y), kasolite, new unnamed phase Pb(Ce,REE)3(PO4)3(OH)2 . nH2O, parsonsite, phosphuranylite, plumbogummite, pseudomalachite, pyromorphite, saléeite, torbernite/metatorbernite, uranophane. Data obtained from powder XRD, WDS microanalysis, IR-spectroscopy and thermal analysis are given. Orgin of supergene phases and, geochemistry and deposit characteristics are discussed.
