Original language description
The t-butylpropoxycalix[5]arene, crystallizes as a solvate with two molecules of calix[5]arene in 1,2-alternate conformation and one molecule of dichloromethane in asymmetric unit. The molecules form intra-molecular hydrogen bonds between propoxy oxygenatoms and an adjacent CH2 group in a neighbouring propoxy chain. In the crystal structure intermolecular C---H...O interactions occur the dichloromethane molecule and a propoxy oxygen atom.
