The expression of NR2B subunit of NMDA receptor in the suprachiasmatic nucleus of Wistar rats and its role in glutamate-induced CREB and ERK1/2 phosphorylation
Original language description
The light entrains circadian clock in the suprachiasmatic nucleus by glutamate receptor mediated activation of ERK and CREB. We show the circadian expression of NMDA glutamate receptor subunit 2B and demonstrate ifenprodil inhibition of glutamate-inducedphosporylation of ERK1/2 and CREB in the SCN of rats.
