Geochemistry and mineralogy of vanadium in mine tailings at Berg Aukas, northeastern Namibia
Original language description
Behavior of vanadium in old mine tailings at Berg Aukas, Namibia, has been investigated. Most vanadium remains in primary mineral descloizite. A part of released vanadium has been implemented in very stable hematite. Zinc and lead in carbonate minerals represent more serious threat for environment.
