Household composition is still a relatively new and less frequently explored topic. There have been many changes in Czech demographic behaviour since the Velvet Revolution. There has been a decrease in nuptiality and an increase in cohabitation and extra-marital fertility. The timing of marriage and the birth of the first child has also changed.
