Henry More (1614-1687) was the greatest of English metaphysical theologians and a member of divnes known as the Cambridge Platonists. More strictly rejected Descartes&apos; mechanical philosophy to the explanation of natural phenomena. Author of the paper tries to delineate More&apos;s important contribution to the metaphysical theology of his age and examines the concept of imagination and the spirit of nature in the work of Henry More.
