Original language description
Henry More (1614-1687) was the greatest of English metaphysical theologians and a member of divnes known as the Cambridge Platonists. More strictly rejected Descartes' mechanical philosophy to the explanation of natural phenomena. Author of the paper tries to delineate More's important contribution to the metaphysical theology of his age and examines the concept of imagination and the spirit of nature in the work of Henry More.
