Original language description
Ferrocene discovery has significantly influenced the development of chemistry and stimulated the rapid growth of organometallic chemistry. During the seven decades of development, ferrocene penetrated nearly all areas of chemistry and found diverse practical applications as such or in the form of various derivatives. In this Editorial, our Guest Editor gives a brief introduction of ferrocene chemistry development and the research in this collection.
