    Single-ion polymer electrolyte (SPE) based on Poly((sulfamate-carboxylate) isoprene) (PISC) poly salt is provided comprising select poly (vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene) P(VdF-HFP) polymer blended with select levels of biocompatible Poly((sulfamatecarboxylate) isoprene) (PISC) polysalt adapted for a flexible, free-standing electrolyte gel polymer electrolyte (SIGPE) when soaked in liquid electrolyte finding end use and application in full cell batteries and grids. A process of fabrication of the same is also provided that is based on simple solution-casting fabrication method for synthesis solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) where ratio of two solvents as DMF and DIW when kept at 8:1 and when PISC loading varied in P(VdF-HFP) polymer of 25-35 wt.% PISC, only enables said SPE/SIGPE that provided maximum conductivity. Further salt additive (2 wt.% NaFSI) in SIGPE provides the long cycle life (cycling for over 650h under 75 μAcm(-2)) with low over potential of symmetric sodium battery at room temperature.
