The genus Eutriptus Wollaston is represented in the world fauna by four extant species, but no fossil species have been described until now.Carcinops donelaitisi Alekseev, 2016 described from Baltic amber is herein transferred to this genus as Eutriptus donelaitisi (Alekseev, 2016) comb. nov.
