Original language description
In the paper we revise the current approaches to indexing XML data and introduce a novel approach to implementation of an XPath subset. Our approach enables an efficient accomplishment of querying text content of an element or an attribute value as wellas of queries based on regular path expressions and XPath axes.

V článku revidujeme současné přístupy k indexaci XML dat a zavádíme nový přístup implementace podmnožiny jazyka XPath. Náš přístup dovoluje dosažení účinného dotazování na obsah textu elementu nebo hodnoty atributu, jakož i dotazy založené na regulárníchvýrazech a osách XPath.
