Original language description
In materials design of rubber nanocomposites, dispersion of the nanofiller in the amorphous rubbery matrix has determining role in specifying their mechanical properties. One of the most important factors influencing the dispersion is the relative magnitude of filler-to-filler and filler-to-rubber interactions. In this chapter, methods of thermal analyses applied to the elucidation of these interactions in rubbery nanomaterials are reviewed.
