Original language description
Generative techniques of software development such as software product lines or software factories are largely adopted and they are considered as the future of software engineering. The component-based software engineering does not stand apart from thistrend and proposes customized generative methods suitable for developing with well-de?ned building blocks. One of them, called a meta-component system, partially adopts an idea of product lines and focuses on preparation domain- speci?c component systems. Although, the concept seems promising it still needs improvements, preferably based on case-studies. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to apply the idea of the meta-component system and implement a domain-speci?c component system SOFA High Integrity (SOFA HI) for a domain of embedded and real-time applications.
