Solving a discrete contact problem via a path-following technique
Original language description
A discrete contact problem with static Coulomb friction is considered. The model depends on parameters. The objective is to analyze non unique solutions. To this end, we explore continuation (path-following) techniques for the numerical solution. It turns out that singular points on the path are generically non-smooth folds.
