Interplanetary Shocks: Penetration into and Propagation Through the Magnetosphere
Original language description
We are presenting a complex analysis of the propagation of two moderate IP shocks in the solar wind and magnetosphere. In both cases, the shock is observed by five spacecraft in the solar wind and by ten spacecraft in the magnetosphere, which allows us to follow the propagation of the original shock in the solar wind and its transformation to the resulting disturbance in the magnetosphere.
