Original language description
The article deals with results of research focused on the interest, experience and attitudes towards physics and classes of physics. Empirical data were obtained via a questionnaire from more than 2000 students of upper secondary schools and almost 1900students of lower secondary schools from the Czech Republic. The questionnaire contains about 150 items. Some of the items are simply worded questions; some items are statements that students should dis/agree using 4-point Likert scale. The items are focused on several topics: which topics and part of physics are interesting for students, what activities students like and which of them they would like to do in physics classes, why students learn physics and what they think about various professions suchas an engineer, a scientist and a teacher of physics. Main findings and conclusions are mentioned and discussed in the contribution.
