Original language description
An experimental study of turbulent Rayleigh-Bénard convection (RBC) and of the influence of various experimental aspects is presented and comparison with similar experiments discussed. We use a cylindrical cell 0.3 m both in diameter and height, designedto minimize the influence of its structure on the convective flow of cryogenic 4He gas of Prandtl number Pr = 1.
