Continuous Model of the Positive Column in Oxygen DC Discharge
Original language description
The positive column of DC oxygen glow discharge is investigated with techniques of computational physics. One dimensional continuous model of H-form in pure oxygen is developed and model is applied to a middle pressure discharge (423 Pa) and a result iscompared with a measurement. The model is build on the fluid description and drift-diffusion approximation of particle flux. The mean-electron-energy approximation is used for treatment of the reactions rates and electron transport coefficients. Radial profile of the concentration and flux of species in the discharge tube were calculated as a result of the simulation.
