    From Gas Phase to Bulk - Photodissociation of Neutral Size Selected (HBr)n Clusters

  • Original language description

    We present results of photodissociation experiments with HBr molecules and clusters. The unique method of cluster size selection allow us to show main differences in hotodissociation dynamics between molecules, small clusters and large clusters preparedin expansions into vacuum. The difference between the small cluster dynamics, which can be calculated by present ab initio methods and large cluster dynamics, which can be compared to bulk is crucial for understanding of the environmental effects on dissociation process.
