Original language description
Study of Penning ionization was performed on Cryogenic stationary afterglow apparatus with Cavity Ring Down Spectroscopy in connection with measurement of N+2 recombination. Based on the evolution of the number densities of electrons and N+2, we have determined the rate coefficients of the reaction of N2 with helium metastable atoms in the afterglow under certain conditions.
