Evidence of hbð2PÞ → ϒð1SÞη Decay and Search for hb1P;2P → ϒ1Sπ0 with the Belle Detector
Original language description
We report the first evidence for the hbð2PÞ RIGHTWARDS ARROW ϒð1SÞη transition with a significance of 3.5 standarddeviations. The decay branching fraction is measured to be B1/2hbð2PÞ RIGHTWARDS ARROW ϒð1SÞη 1/4ð7.1þ3.7-3.2 0.8Þ x 10-3, which is noticeably smaller than expected. We also set upper limits on π0transitions of B1/2hbð2PÞ RIGHTWARDS ARROW ϒð1SÞπ0 < 1.8 x 10-3, and B1/2hbð1PÞ RIGHTWARDS ARROW ϒð1SÞπ0 < 1.8 x 10-3, at the 90%confidence level. These results are obtained with a 131.4 fb-1 data sample collected near the ϒð5SÞresonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy eþe- collider.
