    Statistical Analysis of Waves and Dust in Solar Orbiter TDS Data

    RPW-TDS instrument onboard the Solar Orbiter spacecraft providesmeasurements of plasma wave and dust events. We attempt to combine two datasets,waveform snapshots (TSWF) and on-board statistics (STAT), provided by the instrumentto produce a new STAT-TS dataset. The TSWF dataset contain full waveform snapshotsof selected events detected by an onboard algorithm while the STAT dataset containsbasic information about all events recorded by the instrument. In our work, we attempt toclassify waves identified by onboard algorithm as either Langmuir or ion acoustic waves.However, the observations might be influenced by spacecraft interference resemblingnatural waves. We developed a technique to filter out data affected by the interferenceand thus greatly improved the statistics. Based on the current STAT-TS dataset version,we present our results for years 2022 and 2023 including general wave statisticsimprovement related to interference removal, wave counts based on distance from theSun and the solar wind speed, and polarisation coefficient related wave counts.
