The DEMUN software is a tool for detecting pages containing musical notation in large library collections. It consists of two stages, each containing a deep learning musical notation detector, trained using machine learning libraries in Python. The software is designed so that each stage can be deployed on a different computing infrastructure. The intended use is to process entire digital library collections, so the software is to run in batch mode (i.e. without a graphical interface). It is provided under an open license.
