Archaeological sources confirm the existence of the medieval town of Ústí nad Orlicí from the end of the 13th century or the beginning of the 14th century. Surprisingly, the finds are not concentrated around the central square but in the area north of the square and east of the baroque church occupying the site of its medieval predecessor. © 2023 Masaryk University Press.
