We present the pilot edition of the GermEval 2025 Shared Task on Candy Speech Detec- tion in German YouTube comments. This shared task includes two subtasks which aim to identify the presence of candy speech in a given YouTube comment (Subtask 1), and de- termine the exact types and spans of candy speech expressions (Subtask 2). The dataset consists of 46,286 comments extracted from a corpus of German YouTube comments
