The monograph examines the issue of the transformation of education as a significant socio-cultural potential for the development of society, which contributes to the civic, intellectual and spiritual formation of the individual and ensures the sustainable progress of society, humanity as a whole. The results of scientific research on educational changes in the international educational space by representatives of scientists and teachers from Ukraine, Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, as well as Germany are presented. The problems of the transformation of education in the discourse of socio-cultural dynamics, trends in the development of pedagogical education, general secondary education and vocational training in the modern world educational space are updated. This chapter focuses on the current European concept of teacher education, which is oriented both towards the provision of basic professional training and towards the systematic development of professional activity within the framework of formal and non-formal education. It also reflects on the system of lifelong learning and the importance of informal learning for teachers.
