Original language description

This paper examines Frank Abrahams&apos; critical music pedagogy and its application in contemporary American society. Inspired by Freirean thought, Abrahams developed a critical music pedagogy theory and introduced it into his teaching at the formal music education institution. Following theoretical definitions of critical music pedagogy, positive methodology, and praxis, Abrahams conducted a commentary on some oversights from his perspective.
