Sport and experience activities as different alternatives of youth education
Original language description
Sport as an educational means plays an indispensable role especially in the early phase of life (childhood, adolescence), in a later period it is important at relaxation and spending of leisure time, and it plays also an irreplaceable role in care for health. Sports environment has a fundamental influence on people"s socialisation and facilitates a team way of life, sharing of common targets, etc., and it also makes it easier to accept and respect rules - not only sports rules but also various collective rules, it helps people to master ethic and fair play principles in an easier way. Sport brings the necessity of creating sports habits (a regular regime, time organisation) which form grounds for a healthy physical as well as mental development and lifelong active style. The current form of sports activities is more and more influenced by commercialisation.
