The title of chapter conceals a very complex and turbulent process that has been under way in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe for the last 20 years, and not just in sport. All areas of life in the European states of the former eastern bloc. The multidisciplinary approach (mostly sociology, history and politology) was chosen to highlight aspects and features of developent after fall of Berlin wall. As very important principles of these social events were discovered:. transition from totalitarian regime to democracy; path to a State where the Rule of Law and Civil Liberties prevail; changes from closed to diversified societies and strong national. tendencies leading to national conflicts.
