    Spine and shoulder girdle are often overloaded segments due to the hipokinesia. Monotone load leads to muscle imbalances, which are called The upper cross syndrome. Chapter discusses the biomechanical aspects of shoulder girdle and spine. The ISB recommends the standards for kinematic analysis of shoulder girdle. Biomechanical models of shoulder girdle states as the shoulder blade is the most important part determined the setting of other segments.
