Changes of postural stability with regard to gender, age and visual control of children
Original language description
The aim of the study is to describe postural parameters and their changes with regard to the age in the standing position with open and closes eyes and to describe differences between boys and girls of young school age. The study confirmed a decreasing level of monitored COP parameters while standing with open and closed eyes among children 7-11 years old. Study confirmed the fact that visual control has significant effect on children's postural stability. Generally postural parameters are higher in a standing position with eyes closed. With the loss of visual information, postural stability of children aged 7-11 years is getting wors.
