The author analyses basic works and prevailing narratives of university history in different Nordic countries linked to general history in given countries during the war (i. e. neutral Sweden; German-oriented Finland at war; Denmark and Norway under Nazi occupation; Iceland&apos;s way to full independence under American military presence).
