This paper describes use of material flow indicators for expression of decoupling of environmental pressure from economic growth.As an example, data for the Czech Republic compiled by Ščasný et al. (2003) are taken.It is demonstrated that economic growth(expressed by GDP) was decoupled from environmental pressure (expressed by material flow indicators) in the Czech Republic during the 1990-2002.
