Residential Energy Efficiency : Presentation at the OECD Conference on Household Behaviour and Environmental Policy
Original language description
This study analyses several types of behaviour of households in 10 OECD countries (Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden) with a direct link to energy-saving. In particular, the analysis has focused on electric appliance penetration, energy-saving behaviour of households, and efficiency investments. The study is based on analysis of data from a representative web-based household survey conducted in 10 OECD countries. Various types of statisticalmodels are used to uncover determinants of appliance penetration, energy-conserving behaviour, and efficiency investments.
