Original language description
The article reflects the main principles and advantages of regional cooperation among different institutions in a participatory learning process aimed at positive environmental and social change, with specific attention paid to the role of universities that are the leading partners in this cooperation. It presents experience that can be built upon in a further evaluation of such regional cooperation and introduces indicators for evaluating the learning processes necessary for the long-term success of sustainable development initiatives were taken.
