The relationship between baroreflex sensitivity and the 0.1 Hz variability in circulation in children and adolescents
Original language description
The study proved that variability in PI positively correlates with sensitivity of baroreflex regulation of heart rate and has a dampening effect on variability in SBP. The interrelationship between BRS and the variability at the frequency of 0.1 Hz in SBP and PI is age independent, but it seems to be age dependent for BRSf and variability in SBP and PI. This defference might be linked with the mean PI, that means with the differences in vagal tone.
