    Communication: an important factor in patient decision making

  • Original language description

    This paper is aimed on the factors that are involved in decision-making process of the citizens when choosing a physician or health care facility. Special emphasis is given to the importance of communication abilities and behaviour of physicians. The results are implied from the research that was carried out in 2001 in Brno (Czech Republic). The results show that both communication and behaviour play one of the most important roles in decision-making process.
