(CCTTT)n repeat and -2447G/G polymorphisms in the NOS2 gene promoter and atopic diseases in the Czech population

  • Original language description

Atopic diseases are caused by genetic and environmental factors that interact to determine disease susceptibility and severity. Recent study suggests that (CCTTT)n repeat polymorphism of the inducible nitric oxide synthase (NOS2) gene may be associated with atopy in the Japanese population. To evaluate the role of NOS2 gene in the risk of atopic diseases in Caucasians, we analysed two polymorphisms located in the promoter region in 163 atopic patients and 228 age-sex-matched controls from the Czech population.

(CCTTT)n repetice a -2447G/C polymorfizmus v promotoru genu pro NOS2a atopické nemoci v české populaci

  • Czech description

Ke zhodnocení úlohy NOS2 genu při rozvoji atopických chorob v bělošské populaci jsme analyzovali dva polymorfizmy umístěné v promotorové oblasti u 163 atopických pacientů a 228 párovaných (dle věku a pohlaví) kontrolz české populace.
