Gender-specific association of nitric oxide synthase-3 (NOS3) gene polymorphisms with atopic diseases in the Czech population

  • Original language description

Several studies suggest that abnormalities in nitric oxide (NO) synthesis may contribute to the development of pulmonary diseases. We have, therefore, performed a case-control study to investigate a plausible association between two promoter polymorphisms in the NOS3 gene and respiratory allergic diseases.
