Original language description
The successful therapy by new antitumour drugs increased number of patients with side effects after this treatment (cardio- and neurotoxicity). Anthracyclines are suggested to cause cardiomyopathy because of interference with fatty acid metabolism and they also interact with the autonomous nervous system (ANS). Our results show, that the development of ANS tone seems to be missing in the older population of subjects after cardiotoxic therapy.

Czech description
Úspěšná protinádorová terapie zvyšuje množství přeživších pacientů, u kterých se pak může projevit vedlejší efekt této terapie - kardio nebo neurotoxicita. Antracykliny jsou známy svým vztahem k tukovému metabolismu i k autonomnímu nervovému systému (ANS). Z našich výsledků vyplývá, že po kardiotoxické léčbě dochází k vymizení normálního vývoje tonu ANS.
