Polymorphims in Energy Homeostasis Genes are Associated with Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma
Original language description
In conclusion, this study suggests that genetic variation in the adiponectin and proopiomelanocortin genes may act as attractive susceptibility markers for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). In contrast, no association of variability in tandem region of leptin gene with CTCL has been observed. The role of the adiponectin as well as POMC as genetic markers of CTCL will require further investigation to elucidate the underlying pathophysiological consequences.

Polymorfismy v genech kontrolujících energetickou homeostázu u pacientů s kožními T-lymfomy
Czech description
Naše výsledky naznačují, že polymorfní oblasti v genech kontrolujících energetické hospodaření organismu (leptin, adiponektin, proopiomelanokortin) se uplatňují jako atraktivní genetické markery rizika pro kožní T-lymfom.
