NEW WAYS OF INFECTIOUS SURGICAL WOUND COMPLICATIONS TREATMENT
Original language description
Surgical site infection is a common complication after surgery. We can see new methods improving outcomes of infected wound treatment: antiseptic moist dressings, topical negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) and hydrosurgery. We verified effectivenessof new methods comparing results of two groups of patients: conventional surgical therapy group and hydrosurgery-NPWT-moist dressungs group. Using modern wound therapy reduced total healing time by 40% on average.
