Original language description
This paper describes an application transferring paper-based documentation called ?labor book? into electronic form. The electronic version of labor book is implemented as a classical information system and consists of user interface and database systemfor storing data. The user interface is implemented in Java. For storage and retrieval of records PostgreSQL relational database platform is used. The user interface is designed to be a simple information input into the system. The application was created in collaboration with obstetricians from the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of University Hospital Brno Bohunice where it is currently being deployed in the testing phase.
