Adaptation of Mismatch Negativity like potential – time duration auditory stimuli in roving paradigm
Original language description
The aim of this study was to find out other structures involved in Mismatch negativity – like potential. We analysed adaptation processing of the auditory deviant stimuli in insula anterior and posterior. On the base of our findings, we suggest, that structures of anterior and posterior insula are involved to the automatic detecting sensory information processing. Our results of adaptation are based on the analysis of the three segments of deviant tones in roving paradigma. Posterior insula elicited MMN-like potential of higher amplitude and shorter latency than anterior insula. We observe the highest degree of adaptation after the first third of the record. Some patients showed an increase in amplitude in the middle of the recording.
