Článek porovnává dvě rozdílné axiologické situace, a to z hlediska nasycenosti a hierarchizace: axiologii uzavřenou a "exkluzivní" (francouzská literatura 40. a 50. let) a axiologii "inkluzivní" (francouzsko-kanadská literatura 60. a70. let).
