Original language description

In two Czech plays inspired by Antigone (Milan Uhde 1967, Roman Sikora 1997), their authors attempted a fundamental deconstruction of the familiar and firmly fixed mythological theme. The author analyses both plays and points out that the strong criticism of the local political situation, which is true of both authors, is extended by Sikora to encompass criticism of contemporary globalism.
