Prostor postmoderních románů: Trilogie Jiřího Kratochvila
Original language description
This article focuses on the most important features of space continuum in postmodern novels. At the beginning it introduces past and recent development in the literary theory with a special consideration of the theories of Foucault, Lefebvre and Doležel.Mapping and reflexion of current theoretical approaches to the cathegory of space in literature are forming the background of the subsequent characterisation of postmodern literary space. Postmodern literary space and his crucial attributes are then analysed and demonstrated by the examples taken from the trilogy of novels written by the Czech contemporary postmodernist writer Jiří Kratochvil. Typical postmodernist space of the city is mentioned with the connection to the concepts of the heterotopia and the zone.
