Phoenicians in the Black sea (II)

  • Original language description

The article tries to add more evidence to the previous survey on Phoenicians in the Black Sea published in 2001. Archaeologically, the Phoenicians are much more difficult to grasp in their products than the Greeks and Etruscans. Their famous textiles areunknown to us in corpore, their pottery was much less attractive than that of the Greeks. Their most characteristic products were glass and faience, ivories and metal objects.
