    How differ university students and senior citizens in their health-supportive behavior and life style?

    Introduction: The study compares health-supportive behavior and life style of students and elderly citizens. Method: (A) research samples: Study 1: university students (N = 4 290, 1286 men and 3004 women, 18 ? 29 years ) Study 2: senior citizens (N = 105, 39 men and 66 women, 60 - 88 years) (B) methods: Study 1: NEO Five Factor Inventory (Costa, McCrae; Hřebíčková, Urbánek, 2001) Satisfaction with Life Scale (Pavot, Diener, 1993) Study 1,2: Health-Related Behavior Questionnaire (Dosedlová, Klimusová, Slováčková, Kebza, 2011) Self-efficacy Scale (Jerusalem &amp; Schwarzer, 1992) Results: (1) In cluster analysis (k-mean method), 6 different life style types were defined by using 11 health-related factors (Sporting Enthusiasts, Perfect Students, Mature, Blissfully Ignorant, Party Crowd, Hypochondriacs) on the students´ sample. The same method was used to define 4 senior life style types (Hedonists, Indolent Abstainers, Ignorant and Perfect Seniors).
