  • Original language description

There is a massive and extremely long spear head of diamond-shape section in the collection of the Municipal Museum and gallery in Holešově. It was found in the 1960s in the coat of wall of the motte type castle in Žeranovice. Thanks to the characteristic features of the object in question, it can be assigned as an Awl-Pike, weapon which were used by European troops mostly in the 2nd half of the 15th century.
