The paper informes of property development of the premonstratensian Louka Monastery near Znojmo. It consists of three parts. First, it describes the development of the monastery property from the initial donations and other gifts. The second part is devoted to the role of monastery in building a parish network in the South Moravia and to its rights of patronage. Furthermore, the paper discusses relations between the monastery and the neigboring town of Znojmo and gives general characteristics of the property development of the Louka Monastery in the pre-Hussite period.
